Trying to decide what to post on social media can be daunting. Each business is different and each has a specific target audience.
It’s not as hard as you think!
While each business IS different there are some basic rules and principles that remain the same.
Consistency is key in building a real connection with your audience. When you take the time to comment and respond to people on a regular basis, you start to build that connection with them. You’ll see the same people commenting all the time, and you might even get to know them a little better in the process!
Have a plan
Outlining your plan for social media and monitoring your progress is crucial. You need to make sure that it aligns with your marketing strategy, and you need to find out what type of content will work for your target audience.
Post Awareness Posts
Awareness content is made up of three subsections: educating, inspiring, and entertaining. All with the goal of raising awareness of you and your products or services.
Post Sales Post
Sales content is a great way to inform your audience of what you sell, the benefits of your products and services, and where they can purchase them. If you have a lot of different places to purchase from, then that’s probably a topic that you should cover in one post, then dive into more detail with additional posts about how and when customers can purchase your products.
Engage your Audience
Social media engagement is a measure of how people are interacting with your social media accounts and content. The more people that engage with your posts, the more successful you are as a brand.
